THE HISTORY OF BOATING IN NEW JERSEY
by Robert O'Brien
New Jersey is - and always has been - a maritime state;  Robert O'Brien,
President of the NJ Museum of Boating in Pt. Pleasant, and former President of the
New Jersey Historical Society, will give an illustrated presentation of why and how New Jersey, with its 526 miles of shoreline, started a tradition wherein over 200 boat-building companies have thrived.  Come hear and see so much more about this fascinating part of our state's history!
